Attack on UN Helicopter: GMB Promises punishment against perpetrators
President Muhammadu Buhari has denounced yesterday’s assault on a United Nations’ aid helicopter by Boko Haram terrorists, portraying it as obnoxious and lamentable.
The President says it is one more urgent rearguard activity by the terrorists who have been feeling the squeeze from the military.
He is nevertheless consoling and promising the world and Nigerians that the assault which killed two individuals, including a five-year-old infant, will not be left without capital punishments against the perpetrators.
He includes that the security of outsiders and Nigerians remain the first concern of this regime.
